Thunderthumbs Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 Went to see Benn play at the Manchester 235 Casino on Saturday night. What a fantastic band, and a great choice of songs. Funky as hell. Benn's a great bassist, rock solid and lots of groovy little lines thrown in for good measure. His Ken Smith bass had a tone to die for.....and I still can't believe I did my best to talk him out of selling an instrument I would really have loved to buy! If you get the chance, check him out.
