AndyTravis Posted August 2, 2021 Posted August 2, 2021 Great playing - the jazz wins that for me. Quote
carlitos71 Posted August 2, 2021 Posted August 2, 2021 Liked the ray but they’re all good, is all about the playing (which is excellent btw) Quote
Lozz196 Posted August 2, 2021 Posted August 2, 2021 Finger style the ‘Ray gets it. Don’t like slap so I can’t be objective on that. 1 Quote
BigRedX Posted August 3, 2021 Posted August 3, 2021 You can only hear the differences because the bass is currently over-prominent. Once the bass line is at the proper level in the mix it won't matter, so you whichever ones is the most comfortable/easy/fun to play. 4 Quote

Vanheusen77 Posted August 4, 2021 Author Posted August 4, 2021 As a side note to this I also really want to recommend the SD replacement pickup for the Ray4. Such a huge difference for so little money. Quote
dannybuoy Posted August 5, 2021 Posted August 5, 2021 BB for fingerstyle, with the Ray a close 2nd. Jazz for slap (BB sounds bad there!). Quote
