I am glad I finally found this VHS on a Japanese auction 2 months ago. 

 

My absolute favorite in the world of bass videos!

 

I am ripping and restoring it now.

 

I remember watching it in 2004 for the first time. 

At that time, the quality wasn't an issue. However, I am surprised that since YouTube started 16 years ago, no one has uploaded it in better quality.

 

Now that I've spent some money on it, I'll make use of it and share this video with you this week!

Graham Central Station's 1974 single "Release Yourself" is probably the first recording ever including double-thumping slap technique on bass. In my opinion, this is the best example of using it in a song.
