Hi, apologies if someone else has already asked but any experiences /feedback would be appreciated please?
Build quality/real world volume etc.I’ve been using a Tecamp puma 900 for the last 5 years which is an amazing little thing I have to say, just intrigued about these British built amps.

 Thanks in advance folks x

The bloke who owns Bassics is a very well respected recording engineer, Malcolm Toft.  Unfortunately for us bassists, he makes more money out of mixing desks than bass amps, so that is his main area of work.  I was told there would be a new A900 power amp out in about three months.  They have the chassi (plural of chassis?) ready but some other components are still to be delivered.

I tried one in Bass Direct and was shocked at how quiet it seemed compared to everything else I tried.

Quiet?  As in isn't able to go very loud or has little hiss or fan noise?

Knowing the designer's background, I would bet Bassics stuff would be at its best in a studio.

The former unfortunately.
