2020Jazz Posted August 5, 2021 Posted August 5, 2021 Seems as though the job is about to put me back in hotel rooms for a spell. Pre-covid I traveled a lot, not so much now. Last week I sat in my hotel room in Dallas and pined for my Jazz bass. I want to take it with me, but what a hassle. Also, surely the baggage handlers at the airports will beat up my pristine 7ender case. SO! I have searched a bit and it seems there are 2 players in the little 'portable' basses. Has anyone owned any of these tots? https://www.ebay.com/itm/234063933201?hash=item367f4c2f11:g:UYcAAOSwWK1g1Qnd https://www.ebay.com/itm/114921110687?epid=22044005806&hash=item1ac1d4fc9f:g:m1sAAOSwBh5hCrS9 https://www.ebay.com/itm/284382475942?_trkparms=aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20160811114145%26meid%3D744ece6a3a044f869bc861580273d493%26pid%3D100667%26rk%3D2%26rkt%3D8%26sd%3D234063933201%26itm%3D284382475942%26pmt%3D1%26noa%3D1%26pg%3D2334524%26brand%3DTraveler&_trksid=p2334524.c100667.m2042 Quote
svlilioukalani Posted August 5, 2021 Posted August 5, 2021 (edited) The Travel bass is a very good bass with a nice tone. I have one that is only used while traveling and not gigging. They are a pain to tune. Have a nice bright and deep fender tone. Medium scale bass. A good, well made bass overall. That is a good price. Edited August 5, 2021 by svlilioukalani Quote
