EBS_freak Posted August 6, 2021 Posted August 6, 2021 (edited) Phone call went like this... "Got quite an interesting gig tonight... fancy bringing down a camera or two?" For those wondering what one man (me) and a load of cameras can do... Edited August 6, 2021 by EBS_freak 3 Quote
wateroftyne Posted August 6, 2021 Posted August 6, 2021 Looks great.. nice one. I think it's blurring the edges as far as an Oasis cover goes, though 😄 3 Quote
dave_bass5 Posted August 6, 2021 Posted August 6, 2021 Fantastic job Russ. Is that you on stage? 1 Quote

EBS_freak Posted August 10, 2021 Author Posted August 10, 2021 Out again Friday... for another go. Could be quite interesting - it's a private festival with Deacon Blue headlining. 1 Quote

EBS_freak Posted August 18, 2021 Author Posted August 18, 2021 (edited) I'll just keeping these for the two people that may (or may not) be interested. (OK there was a bit of help with this one… the photographer at the gig happened to catch the footage from the audience POV) Edited August 18, 2021 by EBS_freak Quote

We have just started doing this. Our singer is in a Christian choir and I think she does it with her church, so she suggested we do it too. Fits with our 90s covers remit. 1 Quote
EBS_freak Posted August 24, 2021 Author Posted August 24, 2021 think we may have got it right this time…? Quote
Happy Jack Posted August 24, 2021 Posted August 24, 2021 Only just caught up with this thread - great camera work & editing Russ. Have to say, those songs are even shorter than I remember them being. Quote

Nobody will listen longer than a minute or so anyway… so may as well save people the trouble of clicking off. anyway… Edited August 24, 2021 by EBS_freak Quote
dave_bass5 Posted August 26, 2021 Posted August 26, 2021 Nice one Russ. These are a huge step up from the phone in the pub videos. Job done i guess as i quite fancy going to see them now. Nice to see you getting more screen time in the later ones. Backing vocals seems a bit ‘odd’ though. Only in one channel? 1 Quote

Yeah - this was the mix from the desk, so it is what it is. No multitrack to have fun with! One thing I did learn is, next time (if I ever do anything like this again) is that I need to take a recorder to get some audience atmosphere. Quote
