Arrived today Tim Commerford Music Man Stingray short scale (30") active #14 of 50. Its a great build, size, weight & comfort. So far the tone is very promising...cant wait to gig. So my Mike Lull short scale will have to go!!!!!!IMG_0030.thumb.jpg.110a6aee20986f884c7c64dc965364cd.jpgIMG_0031.thumb.jpg.f90886605f8cd4c289787b5f1e0f20ca.jpgIMG_0035.thumb.jpg.06737c84255738e648e2521094c1f59d.jpg

Congrats, this looks great. 🤩

I have the long-scale version (also natural finish but black hardware), but your wood grain looks soooo much nicer. I am jealous 😉

Enjoy 👍

Beautiful  basses and I’d love one but alas I have too many already.
The GAS is bad but the will is holding 🤣😂

There is no such thing as "too many basses". 😄

Or do you mean that you already have too many TC basses? However, even this would not be possible 😉

😄 I have enough gear to start a band hire company…

It’s time to thin the herd!

Good idea actually. Would save me lots of money, renting a bass instead of buying one. Maybe a kind of subscription service. You get 1 bass sent to you to use for a month and then you return it and get another one. I think that's how Netflix started out. They would send you DVD's in the mail and you would then send them back and get another one. Something like that, well, too long ago and my memory is not the best anymore, cannot even remember when I bought my last bass. Probably a long time ago, ok I need a new one 😉

I  mentioned this a few weeks ago, starting a bass chat library or bass club.
Maybe it should become a thing with trusted members.
you borrow my Wal valued at 3.5k I borrow your fodera.
You borrow my modulus Fu I borrow your 72 precision.
or we all put £100 in and buy a pool bass we can all try then resell it and purchase another.
The problem I see is if something is damaged.
maybe it could work though I’ll give it some thought

Basschat Club! We can then fight out who gets which bass 🙂

The problem is that some people are literally blind to the damage they cause. This idea is a vale of tears.
