I’ve had the Markbass Ninja 500 210 combo for a while now, great sounding, simple, compact, light. Today I bought a gently used Markbass 102p 2x10. They stack up perfectly, giving me a “line array” vertical 4x10 500 watt stack. Good for me :)

I have been stacking my Acme B2 2x10 thus for many years. They have a better dispersion around the room this way. Two take up the same stage area as one., My amplifiers controls are more easily seen. All in all it's a winning configuration. :)

For onstage monitoring, anything that brings the speakers nearer to your ears is a good thing...didn't TC have a thing where the 210 would stack on the 212 slightly further back to increase the effect? IIRC they did the same thing with the 210 on the 112, too...

I had the opposite issue with a BF Big Baby, which comfortably filled an aircraft hangar (literally - it was an RAF gig), for everyone but me, as most of the output shot past my knees...

Yes the TC RS 12" cabs 1x12 or 2x12 are deeper than the 10", so the 10's on top sit further back... there's some science time alignment jiggery pokery behind why that works.  ;)

Saying that I had the 1x12 as well as the 2x10 and for the hell of it I moved the 10's flush with the front; no discernible difference that my ears could hear.  :)

I stacked my Markbass 2-10 and 8-4 yes you read it right very rare mb cab last week and prefer it that way, probably going to sell both as bass direct have some 2-12 cabs that weigh 12 kgs,not cheap though

I used to stack 3 Berg AE112's. Great sound in a small footprint.

Yep, I did this, too...fantastic sound, it was only when I realised I was hoicking 90+lbs of speaker around (albeit in smaller lumps) that I looked for an alternative...

Old!

Ish...it was in the middle of a very busy year with lots and lots of functions and weddings, and I just got bored trundling it all backwards and forwards to the car every time, usually through throngs of drunken punters at 1am...oh, and the back stairs of stately homes weren't made for easy hauling...and there never seemed to be a lift... 😕🙂
