velvetkevorkian
Toying with picking up a MIDI foot controller to use with my HX Stomp, but the only ones with an expression pedal I've seen are the big ol' Roland FC-300 and the venerable Behringer clone of the Roland FC-300. Are there any others? Maybe not quite as expansively huge? Or should I just save up for the ridiculous Helix-specific expression pedal? itu
I have an old Digitech MC2, but you could source after something modern. Source Audio, maybe?
moley6knipe
Blimey o’riley. The Roland thing is over £300!!! If you’re happy to spend near that money then this is a no brainer…. https://thorpyfx.com/products/morningstar-engineering-mc3-midi-controller https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B000NLRWEI/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_Z22HSTNY202M2R70A5F2 and you’re done! velvetkevorkian
You'd think there would be something in between the Roland and the Morningstar, with a few switches and one expression pedal. Back to plan A (plugging a regular expression pedal into the Stomp direcly) I guess.
BigRedX
With the price of decent MIDI footswitches with expression pedals you might be better off selling the HX Stomp and looking for a second-hand Helix Floor.
