Peace brothers and sisters of UK. I am a long time bassist since the age of 14 from mid America. Wanted to see what a bass site was like in England. My brother and I were recently still marveling at how this small Island Nation of Great Britain has turned out so many great musicians and music since the  60s. Some of my favorites have been Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page, Joe Cocker, The Who, Fleetwood Mac, The Beatles, The Stones,  (Hendrix- though he started in the United States), Cream, and all of John Mayall’s band incarnations . This List is far from complete, but the influence of of just these individuals and groups on the music of the world …still, is just absolutely amazing!! Hail England, and 😊 thanks so much!! I play mostly Blues, Rock, fusion -infused jazz ,reggae, world beat and sprinkled if possible with a little New Orleans magic! My favorite basses for my small hands are my Alembic, 2 high end Ibenez Natural Wood Sound gear models, and a Jazz Bass which I have hot rodded with some great pickups so long ago I don’t remember what they are. I also built a recording and rehearsal studio in my home pictured below. The stage is too large to fit in one photo. Includes powered 215 PA cabs and 115 monitors and subs, keyboard and amp, congas, a pile of percussion instruments, several guitars and fender amps. Bass Amps and cabs include Mesa Titan  driving Mesa PH 410 and Bergantino HS410, Mesa 400+ driving a Mesa 212 and Uber 410, Mesa 800+ driving  a  Schroeder stack 112PL and 115PL, and a Magellan 800 driving a pair of MAS 110 cabs, for almost any tone you desire!!

peace,

Welcome and your welcome. We just stole it from America and hoped that if we put some union jacks, mini skirts and red busses in the artwork no one would notice.

Impressive cave you got there. Welcome!

I'm from an even smaller nation and our 'popular' music is well erm... mostly crap.

I don't know what they have been feeding these Brits to make them come up with so much awesome music. Maybe it's something in the water.
