It depends, partly, on where you live.

I’ve  had reasonable success using FB market place, but as Douglas says above, it depends a fair bit on where you live. Otherwise Gumtree can be useful too, just be prepared for some dumb replies.

Tbh I've generally flogged stuff on ebay, tho I only sell my redundant items occasionally... even after they changed away from paypal it seems to work ok, did for me anyway.
