Pipper
Thanks for letting me in. A month ago I had a mini stroke, and whilst (fortunately) I am pretty much ok, I still had some issues with my left hand / brain co-ordination. 2 weeks ago, I decided to buy a bass - as you do. I’ve never played anything before - so I bought a Cort Action - and off we go. I’m loving it. Learning a lot from the forum, thank you all. ubit
Welcome Ian, lots of friendly folks on here to help with anything you want and you will have a laugh along the way. Playing the bass is a great way of honing hand eye co ordination. Good luck and keep us posted on your progress.
ezbass
Solid choice of first bass. I hope your rehabilitation goes well and quickly as well as your bass skills.
BillyBass
Welcome to the forum. I'll second @ezbass's comment, solid first bass that. My first bass was chosen for a few reasons, one of which being the wood stain matched our furniture and the missus wouldn't mind it so much! I almost never play it anymore. Richard R
Welcome aboard! As everyone has said, excellent bass. Hope the recovery is swift and complete. Learning an instrument definitely stretches the brain as well as the fingers, and when you finally play a riff you couldn't do before it's very satisfying.
