As it says in the specs, this specific model has a very narrow string spacing, 14 mm.

Yup, 14mm at the bridge and tapering to a more 'standard' 9mm at the nut which gives it both a narrow string spacing but also a more gentle taper than other 6 string basses. It's Gerald Veasley's budget version of his Ibanez signature bass, the Ibanez GVB1006, and the string spacing was a key specification for him to enable him to more easily play his jazz chordal patterns; it also makes it ideal for 'classical' bass which I use mine for.

Sadly no longer in production and they don't come up for sale very often. GLWTS.

I am getting more convinced there were only 2 of them, the one I had (this one) and the one you have!

Maybe was one of ours? :D

It's quite identifiable as it has three EMG pickups in it!

I've just looked back through me emails and found @RaNoFuNkY bought mine!

...and it still makes me smile!

Great bass. If you're interested in this, don't be put off by the narrow string spacing. It takes ~30 min to get used to it, and then you are completely uninhibited to enjoy making all the mistakes you typically make, just more efficiently.
