Going back the way you came: a GAS Aesop’s Fable

When I was a 16 or 17, having been superceded as a guitarist by my later-starting but far-more-gifted friend, I was trying to play bass on a borrowed P, but deciding it was physically too much for me. Half a lifetime of fannying around later, I screwed up my courage, and challenged myself with the least challenging bass I could find. One year on, that's gone, and I've got a P, and I'm loving it. What a muppet 🙄
