Pirellithecat Posted August 30, 2021 Posted August 30, 2021 Hi, Anyone have experience of both of the above and willing to share? I really like my Sandberg - it's the nicest bass I've ever played and it is superbly built .... looks Ace too! Sounds great for more modern stuff, but maybe not ideal for the old 70's Rock. I do have a P which serves for the "Old School" material, but now find myself in a new band doing a really wide range of material (from Creedance Clearwater to The Strokes). So, I was wondering about investing in a new bass which might cover all the bases. I like a narrower neck than a Fender P - max 40mm is good, and wondered about the Lakland. So, if anyone has had both I'd be very interested in hearing about your experience. Quote
Pirellithecat Posted August 31, 2021 Author Posted August 31, 2021 In the event that no-one has owned both of the basses in question, would anyone share their experience with the with the Lakland 44 64 PJ? Really difficult to find one within a three hour drive so thought I'd seek opinions here before another sortie into metropolitan Britain. Quote
