Yeah that's my thought too. Andy Travis on the Yamaha BB thread, said it's originally either a Rogue or Stella branded bass.

Something like that. I’ve seen the same bass on eBay before. Just checked those two brands and it’s neither.

Yamaha do themselves no favours with the ultra budget up

to mega expensive selection of prices…

I've just mailed the guy to inform that his bass is not a Yamaha. See what comes back.

Seller got back to me, said thank you but hasn’t changed the listing.

Seller removed the listing after I emailed him again insisting his details were incorrect but has since relisted with the exact same details.

*update, decided to email seller for the serial number and location of manufacture to confirm its authenticity.
