PaulThePlug
Bitsa Build... time to fit the pickup... So White Wire, Black Loop, Black Wire... White Hot, Black Ground? Wires to the bottom of the cavity? White Wire Half for the E and A... Black Wire Half for the D and G? Is that right? Build from bits, so not like i've forgotton or failed to take pics when pulling apart... 😉 Edited August 31, 2021 by PaulThePlug
Hellzero
It's a series wiring, so the black junction wire is for the connection in series of both coils. The remaining black wire is the cold point (that you solder to the ground) and the white wire is the hot point (output). If you have another pickup in the bass and that the sound is out of phase, simply reverse the cold and hot points.
PaulThePlug
Nope single P... Just wanted to make sure i wire for the hum cancelling and if one half is prefered for a pair of strings... Hellzero
The two coils are totally identical otherwise the hum cancelling wouldn't be very effective. 😉 So there's no E-A or D-G part.
