tauzero Posted October 9, 2021 Posted October 9, 2021 Lots 301 and 302 (page 7) astounded me with the price they fetched. The same things are going for £10-£20 on That Ebay. Quote

Maude Posted October 9, 2021 Posted October 9, 2021 If amps can go up to eleven, why can't melidicas go up to K? 3 Quote
AndyTravis Posted October 9, 2021 Posted October 9, 2021 I couldn’t believe the Peavey Foundation fretless went for more than the bicentennial thunderbird 😳 Quote

I noticed that the Blue Monday commemorative anvil went for more than the main BB1200. People are weird, and have money. Quote

I didn’t want the Ashdown for the Hooky connection, I just loved the Salford Rules bit… Quote

Maude Posted October 9, 2021 Posted October 9, 2021 Maybe it's like a drinking game but more hardcore. Every time Barney played that note everyone had some Ket. 1 Quote

Only proceeds from certain lots go to charity also yet I hear people always saying it's a 'charity' auction and to leave the man alone Edited October 11, 2021 by i.clarke Quote
JottoSW1 Posted October 11, 2021 Posted October 11, 2021 Maybe the K stands for Kaputt. Trace Elliot Facebook group has a post from an Auction purchaser. He got two later Ah 12 band heads, one has a sticker with that very word inscribed. Quote

I'd guess they had more than one in forty years. A few of their songs use one and I'd want at least a couple of back ups if touring a plastic 'toy'. But I know what you mean. 🙂 Quote
