lownote
For sometime I've found the Entwistle pup on my Revelation P doesn't quite fit with the early sixties rock band I'm in. Bit modern and lacking in warm cuddles, which is fine but not for this job. Put a Tonerider in for £40 and there's lovely, all velvety and 80% dark chocolate. Reggaebass
I’ve still got the tonerider in one of my precision’s that I think I got from you a few years ago, I can’t think of anything that I would change it for, super smooth tone
Lozz196
I’ve just got one for a backup Precision I’ve just bought so the residing Quarterpounder will be on its way soon, Toneriders are great, sound very much like the Fender Custom Shop 62s but at a fraction of the price. nilebodgers
I’ve got a Tonerider in my MiM P. I was a bit unsure at first as it isn’t as bright as the pickup it replaced, but I like it now. There seems to be a lot of “texture” to the sound in the lower registers which I find pleasing.
Hellzero
My Fake Flea Jazz Bass has a set of these excellent pickups (to me the best "standard" pickups ever, period) and like GR Bass, it's something I recommend all the time ... with some huge success with GR Bass...
