You are right of course, a Hamlet would rattle, you could get four Senior Service in there.

I too can confirm that this bass is deeply lush, plays like a dream with it's nylon-wrapped flats.

 

Naturally it sounds amazing,but this was entirely down to being played through my rig 😉

My one moment of doubt was when I heard a thin reedy sound coming from what sounded like the papier-mâché horn of an ancient gramophone, but then I realised it was @Stub Mandrel's rig...
