Jean-Luc Pickguard
That must have seemed like a good idea at the time, perhaps after a few drinks.
ash
That one has done the rounds price coming down from over a grand. What a shame, great basses these. The neck is probably worth it if you can try it out. That mudbucker neck pickup looks very wonky to me.
prowla
A mudbucker in the neck position is a Sheehan thing - sort of makes it sound like a Ric or an EB3 (well, I suppose the EB3 is a given). The extended pickguard looks pretty grim, tough.
AndyTravis
All work done by Jack’s Instrument services in Manchester… Why didn’t they say no? 😂

Gothic
The mudbucker does seem crookedly placed and that "extended" pickguard is god awful. If it were cheaper perhaps it would be ok for a project but the seller admits that even the neck has a dead spot so, yeah, hard pass. Hellzero
I don't know a Fender that doesn't have a dead spot...
AndyTravis
I think the mudbucker/p is fine as a setup… the bridge p though, could’ve just been routed into the body.
Bassassin
Could be rescued by removing all the crap & filling whatever disasters live under the scratchplate, I suppose. Black refin. Knock another £100 off the price & it might be worth it.
Jean-Luc Pickguard
At least the tuners aren't set at jaunty angles on a weirdly reshaped headstock
