Got these Flats on a Ibby GSR200, the P Bitz and the Harley B Acoustic... Had em on the Ibby SR600 but that has just gone back to the Roto Solo Bass Presure Wounds, The J Bitz will get Rounds.

Great flatwound, regular tension string for an offer price of £13 so gave the rounds a go.

I’ve also got the Adagio flats on my bitsa p bass and they’re great. A really warm smooth sound with the tone rolled off a bit. Having said that, I think the KiOgon wiring loom with 1uF cap is a contributory factor.

Flats on a Jazz can be a joyous experience, and switching to the neck pickup on a Jazz strung with flats can be as close to a Precision as makes no difference. I’m a fan.
