Had em on the Ibby SR600 but that has just gone back to the Roto Solo Bass Presure Wounds, The J Bitz will get Rounds. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FLATWOUND-Bass-Guitar-Strings-Set-45-100-RRP-29-99-Fretless-Jazz-ADAGIO-PRO-/332636490116?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286&mkrid=710-127635-2958-0 Great flatwound, regular tension string for an offer price of £13 so gave the rounds a go. Velarian
I’ve also got the Adagio flats on my bitsa p bass and they’re great. A really warm smooth sound with the tone rolled off a bit. Having said that, I think the KiOgon wiring loom with 1uF cap is a contributory factor.
CameronJ
Flats on a Jazz can be a joyous experience, and switching to the neck pickup on a Jazz strung with flats can be as close to a Precision as makes no difference. I’m a fan.
