Recent Status Updates

I've asked this question before to no response, but in 'Recent Status Updates' on the Home page it is impossible not to see what the originator would think is a private conversation with another member or even a Mod. Is this intentional?

Cant help because i dont use it. Seems a pointless waste of real estate to me.

I’ve asked about this as well.

One day someone is going to post something sensitive in there thinking it is private when it isn’t.

I’ve never done one, I don’t see any point really, if I  want to go private I just PM 🙂

But that’s the point, there’s something that people are seeing that makes them think they’re PM’ing another member when they’re actually not. Also, the Status Update section allows the >> to other members. It’s a bit weird.

Best do as I do, say nowt and lurk in the background, building up my dossier.....😏
