BassAdder60
Just purchased the Lekato WS-80 2.4ghz wireless for £33 new ! They work very well indeed and I no longer have to trip myself up with my lead !
Newfoundfreedom
I had the Donner ones for about the same price and they were excellent. I'm current using the Harley Benton which, if I remember correctly is about £90 and it's superb!
stewblack
I have Lekato ones and they're absolutely flawless. Do like the look of the Harley Benton one too.
BassAdder60
Have you gigged yours ?
stewblack
Yes indeed. I foolishly set up at a recent gig with my way more expensive Line 6 wireless. It dropped out several times in the first song so I swapped for the Lekato and it never missed a beat.
BigRedX
At a gig any 2.4GHz wireless unit will be competing for bandwidth with every single mobile phone user in the venue. After a few of problems with the much more professional Sony 2.4GHz system I have (In particular I had two gigs where the transmitter unit mysteriously changed channels mid-gig, both were venues where either the FoH or monitor mix was being controlled by WiFi connected tablets) I've stopped using wireless. ATM I no longer play enough venues where a standard 20' jack lead isn't sufficient to cover the whole stage area. When it gets to the point that I need to look at wireless systems again I'll take EBS Freak's advice and go for a professional standard system that doesn't use WiFi frequencies. I took advice from EBS Freak over a wireless mic system. Stayed analogue with Sennheiser. It's superb
gafbass02
I’ve started using the cheap £30 odd quid lekato too. No dramas with it so far.
