Humbucker options - Thunderbird type sound

Couldn't figure out the best place for pickup questions, so here goes:

I have a swamp ash P bass body and I feel like doing something different with it for my next project. I love the sound of Thunderbirds, but can't get on with the shape of them and the skinny necks, so I thought I'd get some T Bird pickups and see how it sounds. I assumed there were loads of readily available pickups that people use for that sound... I was very wrong! The only ones seem to be in the States and cost hundreds for a set.

Can anyone suggest any humbuckers (passive circuit) that might give me that sort of hot vintage vibe, that are readily available in the UK? Not concerned about the shape, I'll route for whatever I get. Bonus points if they come in chrome covers! Open to custom UK builders too.

I appreciate simply sticking T Bird pups in an ash P bass won't make it sound like a T Bird, just going for something different.

There a fella in the US , Scott Dasson , completely nuts about Tbirds.

Few year back he started a thread about the Eric Customs sold by EY Guitars.

You'd be around £90 for a pair from China, that's with pickup rings and shipping.

Choice of 9.5k or 10k DCR .

I've a 9.5k ohm in this slab body.
