I've been blown away by these strings: the articulation is amazing and the tension just the right side of medium to be so playable.

 

This is a 4 string set by mistake, so cheaper to sell them in the UK than send them back to Italy for exchange.  Brand new in sealed bag.

 

Synthesis strings have a double winding in nickel and steel, which apparenlty gives them a richer sound by combining the brilliance of steel with the depth, sustain and warmth of nickel.  They do sound damn good!
