A bit off reading practise for 5 Stg. [ well low notes anyway - although you could play it up the octave ]
Here is the Basic chart for Jamaica funk...
Just add your own fills.

But its getting lost amongst all the fun going on there.

Here's my go at this wonderful line. At first I thought it was Sekou Bunch, and Marcus Miller also plays on the album, but I finally found out that it took Bernard Wright (he was 16) to show us bass players how it should be done, on a keyboard.

No matter, bass is bass, and when it's that good you got to just stand back in awe.
