BigAlonBass
Where did all the different Forums go? Is this the way it's going to appear from now on, because I hate it. Everything lumped together on one page doesn't help the 'Browsing Experience' in the slightest......or is it my Computer?

I'm a very old Bass Player, not Computer savvy at all. Not a clue how to do that, and no desire to learn, thanks. 😊 20 hours ago, Bunion said: Top right of the page make sure you have the correct tab selected. mine changed too on the mobile site Thank You! So simple, but I didn't change it in the first place, which I find so annoying. People take Computer Skills for granted these days, and I have a fairly short life left to live, so I don't want to waste any of it, filling the time with learning computer fripperies. 🤪

Beware that an accidental click on those header buttons can send you right back to oblivion. The big orange logo right at the top gets me home again from time to time. neepheid
Suits me, that attitude keeps me in a job, long after I predicted that a generation of computer whizzkids would come along and render me obsolete. Turns out, much like any other subject in life you have to be interested in it in order to give a hoot about it

They do this to ensure themselves jobs for life for them and their kind.
zbd1960
I can confirm as a recently retired computer person that youngsters tend to want to indulge themselves in whatever is the latest piece of gimmickry flim-flam without stopping to think if it's even necessary, relevant, or a benefit.

Anyone still have their Big Trak? Necessary? No, it was a toy. Relevant? Yes, it was a toy, we were kids. Benefit? Kinda - if the act of programming it in a kind of pseudo Logo got you all excited then congratulations, a childhood sparsely populated with friends followed by career in computing beckons! If it got boring after 5 mins, you probably did something else with your life.
