Do we as bass players really need MFX

I have, amongst many other things, a Zoom B3. I could easily get by with that in any situation but the truth is, I get bored and I like buying stuff to muck about with, and pedals are relatively cheap. It is complete madness, but I buy pedals I don't need because I'm done with buying amps, cabs and guitars because I'm overloaded with them as it is. So, I cart a pedal board around when I could slip the B3 into the pocket of a gig bag and be done with it. Right, off to the F/S section to see if there's anything I fancy trying out, when in fact I should be advertising a load of stuff I never use.

You could finance acquisitions by selling stuff you’re bored of ?
