Stub Mandrel
This is unusual... looks like the bridge is missing! Hybrid between a hofner and a Fender 51? @Bassassind you have any clues? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/144217930017?_trkparms=amclksrc%3DITM%26aid%3D1110006%26algo%3DHOMESPLICE.SIM%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20191002094254%26meid%3D503aa88a042e4d41a3533d066b3ebbc3%26pid%3D100891%26rk%3D3%26rkt%3D6%26sd%3D255159113873%26itm%3D144217930017%26pmt%3D0%26noa%3D1%26pg%3D2332490%26algv%3DDefaultOrganicWeb&_trksid=p2332490.c100891.m5206 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/393518449755?hash=item5b9f87045b:g:bPoAAOSwcjlhHkn8 Edited October 11, 2021 by Stub Mandrel
BigRedX
Same body shape and a lot of similar features to this Orfeus bass made in Bulgaria.

Looks like that's it. The pups are different on this one, bridge missing but the awful 'stop' tailpiece would appear to be original.

I see these old Russian basses pop up quite a lot, usually at really low prices, but they always look absolutely knackered. I'd probably hand over the £15 any self-respecting car booter would want for that, but £154?

I've never bothered asking how much, because they usually look way too rough to even bother with. But they certainly wouldn't be anything like that much. Especially, when checking local listings and I can pick this up for around £170. Edited October 12, 2021 by Newfoundfreedom
