bluedoughboy Posted October 14, 2021 Posted October 14, 2021 I got caught up in the excitement of the sourceaudio hot hand ‘craze’ of about ten years ago. Wife bought me one which I intended to use for something until I had the £300 for the two pedals needed to make dubstep wobble (which I would’ve inflicted on my then unsuspecting bandmates and audiences). Now dubstep is about as relevant as flares and square wheels and I’ve got a barely used hot hand sat in a drawer somewhere. I can use it like an expression pedal for...something. But what? Any ideas? Anyone seen bassists use it for anything fun? I’ll level with you-I just have wizard envy and want to use it for something fun at gigs, change the found by dumbledoring my hand about a bit. It’s pure vanity. 1 1 Quote
redbandit599 Posted October 14, 2021 Posted October 14, 2021 You are not alone - I keep meaning to plug my (now redundant) Hot Hand into something else having sold the SA Manta... I too wish to be a wizard and confuse intoxicated peasants in the local tavern.🧙♂️ 1 Quote

bluedoughboy Posted October 14, 2021 Author Posted October 14, 2021 I thought about a filter. The other idea I had was a pitch shifter, banging between octaves with a flappy hand. 1 Quote
