Freddi375 Posted October 17, 2021 Posted October 17, 2021 (edited) Hi, Looking for a new amp, something with the heft of my streamliner 900, also something I can run my Sadowsky preamp pedal through. The Quilter BB802 has popped up a few times- are these any good? I'd be running it through a TC RS212, and going to get another so have option of 212 x 2. Will the amp provide enough heft? Many thanks Freddie Edited October 17, 2021 by Freddi375 Quote
Mudpup Posted October 17, 2021 Posted October 17, 2021 I have the earlier BB800 and it's the only class D amp that i've ever thought came close to having some real wallop about it. I've tried a few of the usual suspects (Genz Shuttle 9.2, GK Fusion500, Mesa D800, MarkBass EVO1, Darkglass M900, Genzler Magellan800) and moved them all on. But I've had my Quilter for 3 years now and it's staying. Total clean headroom and muscle...... Quote
