Cpw1959 Posted October 20, 2021 Posted October 20, 2021 Good afternoon from a miserable North Staffordshire. I have only just stumbled across this forum thanks to a post of at Talkbass, which has lost my attention with its American centric nature and I'm so glad to have found this site. I am a returning bass player who has been away for a long long time, a young family at the time and the death of a great friend and ex bandmate meant music was confined to listening and seeing live bands only. I was given a birthday present of a new Bass by my grandsons for one of my large birthdays. It is an unnamed local builder built PJ bass and I love it. Recently though well March 2021,I had a serious Break of my left arm and have been unable to play since, I am just now starting to get enough strength in my wrist to hold the beast again, then to try and get some feeling and strength back in my fingers again. Sorry for the long winded intro, I'll expound a bit more if anyone cares or wants to know. Cheers for accepting me. Quote

Richard R Posted October 20, 2021 Posted October 20, 2021 Welcome aboard! If North Staffs had anything like the rain we got in Solihull this afternoon then yes, it was pretty miserable! However the sun always shines on BC Quote
