very fast reply from Jim later tonight - he can do it, just not yet as he's busy. Im prepared to wait as he has all the right credentials and has had a lot of good press on here and from others so I think ill wait around for him...?

Sure I paid about £75 for an already sanded Tokai P Bass body from the Guitar Doctor based in Stoke - 07708897651. We had a discussion about the actual tone and setteled for a white with a bit of red to warm it up and give a nice 60's vibe. - very pleased with results - pics if you want. Maybe a burst would be more, but not much.
