Marky Screen Posted October 23, 2021 Posted October 23, 2021 (edited) The best bang for your buck Mexican fender jazz killer imo Thin Vintage frets with little wear. Couple of cosmetic dings but otherwise in good nick. Front and back of neck in good condition. Bass is all cleaned up and has had a decent setup with medium/low action. I can post safely boxed, bubbled wrapped and in a functional gig bag for an additional £25 More pics to follow Edited October 24, 2021 by Marky Screen 7 Quote
AndyTravis Posted October 23, 2021 Posted October 23, 2021 Tell you what - if anyone is looking at a Classic Vibe jazz (what are they, £350/£400 now?) Or a Mexican Fender at £500+. give this a go. This is a) the same bass as a classic vibe (minus sticky neck lacquer) they were made by Farida at the same time - hence the Jaguar style lower horn. b) the best £150 you’ll ever spend. c) great platform for modding. 4 Quote
bubinga5 Posted October 23, 2021 Posted October 23, 2021 (edited) Im with And. Ive played one of these and they are great. Very hot pickups. I played one in a shop in Cardiff next to a US Fender and i prefered the Farida. Go figure Edited October 23, 2021 by bubinga5 1 Quote

Bassdude BE Posted September 14, 2022 Posted September 14, 2022 I bought one of these from Scott Whitley -many years ago- that came with an EMG dual band pre-amp installed (he used to gig that one before he started his own brand of basses) and is has served me well. Excellent basses for the money, I agree they are much better quality than Squier and the likes and the pickups work very well with an active pre-amp added to them. The EMG pre made mine an absolute slap- monster. ❤️ Quote
