Shipping basses from Germany to UK, USA and elsewhere outside EU - advice please

Hello All,

So I recently moved from UK to Germany and I am looking for advice please in terms of shipping basses from Germany to outside the EU - mainly the UK and USA.

From the UK you could ship a bass in a hardcase to the USA for about £120 and then purchase insurance from a broker for an additional £35.

Here in Germany the options seem very limited and extremely expensive- from 350€ upto 450€!!!

If anyone has any info on cheaper shipping options and insurance brokers in Germany I would be very grateful.

Ask @chrisbass13 which courier he's using as he's been shipping some expensive basses to the U.K. and USA recently.

 

The courier was way more cheaper than what you mention.

Just to update, anyone looking to ship basses from the EU should check out Packlink.

There prices are great, they are the preferred agent for Reverb.com and have comprehensive insurance options.
