lucatus Posted October 28, 2021 Posted October 28, 2021 (edited) Howdy? As the title says, I love my Rapture's tone but always thought it had low output. Digging online I found some people saying that the Bartolini preamp should come with a trim pot for gain but I can't locate in in mine. Does anyone know if Bartolini made them with and without such trimpot? I suppose I could also swap the NTBT for an Aguilar to sort out the issue, any thoughts on that? Many Thanks Pablo Edit: Typos Edited October 28, 2021 by lucatus Quote
BassBunny Posted October 28, 2021 Posted October 28, 2021 It should have a prewired trimpot. It's not built into the main pre-amp but is a small square pot wired into the main block. Is it hidden under something? Quote
Hellzero Posted October 28, 2021 Posted October 28, 2021 (edited) IIRC, there were two versions of the rapture, one with the full monty Barts and a gain trimmer pot and another one with just an NTBT without any gain adjustment. That said, you can simply raise your pickups to get more gain. Edited October 28, 2021 by Hellzero Spelling Quote

lucatus Posted October 28, 2021 Author Posted October 28, 2021 ... and I so totally managed to detach a lead in the process. 🤦🏻♂️ Quote
Hellzero Posted October 28, 2021 Posted October 28, 2021 No worries, here's the schematic with the gain trim pot that you can add if you want : https://bartolini.net/docs/ntbt-wiring-diagram/ 1 Quote
