Fender Road Worn jazz bass 

from 2008.

Fender put some extra effort into these babies from the first batch. Having owned some I could say the relic on this is very natural, it has a nice dark rosewood fretboard and over the years it has gained a nice and subtle cracklin effect in the thin nitro finish.

Nice and light at 3.8 kgs

True custom shop quality with mexican price tag.

Bass is located in Italy and I ship everywhere.

These first run pre NAMM launch are indeed very special.

 

I had mine up but since we started gigging again over the last few months, I've used it on the gigs where space is a little limited.

They are very liberating in not having to worry about a dink/scratch etc.

And they play soooooo well🙂

I had an early one of these, in sunburst. I really liked it... A lot. Great build quality, great player, lovely sound. I always wished my bass was in Fiesta Red at the time.

 

There are times when I toy with the notion of owning one again, but alas funds, space & practicalities dictate that I really can't

 

To anyone considering one - these really are superb instruments.
