NancyJohnson Posted December 20, 2021 Posted December 20, 2021 I'm really not a fan of doing covers, but we are pushing some content up to streaming services shortly. We've recorded 'That's When I Reach For My Revolver' (Mission of Burma) and are considering 'Game of Pricks,' (Guided By Voices). 1 Quote
fretmeister Posted December 20, 2021 Posted December 20, 2021 I love to. I've only been in 1 band that had the right people & instruments to do it, but it was 99% originals with 1 or 2 short covers in the set only. Not a 13 minute job. Quote
dmccombe7 Posted December 20, 2021 Posted December 20, 2021 Tried to get a Prog covers band up and running years ago but never happened. These were some of the songs i always wanted to cover. In the Dead of Night - UK Warcher of the Skies - Genesis BIKO - Peter Gabriel School - Supertramp Wait - Camel Dave Quote

Japhet Posted December 20, 2021 Posted December 20, 2021 From a musical point of view - Ruby Baby by Donald Fagan with the lovely Anthony Jackson bassline; and from a simply 'fun to play' point of view - Can You See The Real Me - The Who; Quote

Great drummer, great guy. Was friends with the guys from the Sweet too. He's played some amazing venues incl Wembley Arena..................and now he plays in a band with me poor sod. His career has gone right down hill now Dave Edited December 20, 2021 by dmccombe7 Quote
