Nice bass! Doesn't look like a high mass bridge to me though.

The cat may have had some industrial dental work 😂

I would have bought the bass (don't need the cat) last week. Unfortunately, I'm all bassed up now. GLWTS

Not a high mass bridge Alan but a fabulous bargain especially with those pickups.

Great bloke to deal with folks, this is a lot of bass for comparatively little.

Good luck mate.

Agree, great looking bass.

I recently got a Fender Dark (K)night P with flats and this would be a great addition with rounds. Big fan of red basses, so very tempting, very tempting indeed.

Well, the fact I am here again shows you that I am still tempted 😉

Could you please confirm that the pickup is indeed a SD Quarter Pounder? I zoomed in one of the photos and I think the quarter pounder has bigger pole pieces. Yours looks more like a vintage P or the Hot P. I could be wrong though.

SPB-1 or 2 (Vintage P or Hot P) SPB-1.jpg.c0a8e76cbdeed6a2adba8d576f1d9aec.jpgSPB-3 (Quarter Pounder) SPB-3.jpg.09fbd5b526dc85a03636c319ebf1d613.jpg

You should  know Tom. I bought it from you.

Ok, I found Tom's original ad from 2015. The weight is 8.3 lbs 🙂

The pickup is indeed the SPB-1 (Vintage P, replica of a Fender 57 P pickup). Unfortunately, I have the Vintage territory well covered. Well, I could change it to a QP or Hot P or a DiMarzio Model P (I know this one from my Spector 1977 LE, killer pickup, esp. for (hard) rock)

BTW, the bass is a 2013 model, not 2014 (serial nr: MX13...) 🙂

Ok, have to think about. Still tempting 😁
