Tat, for want of a better word, sells. That's quite tasteful and actually useful in comparison with much of the other crap out there. I actually like that. Is it worth the asking price? Not to me, it would have to be substantially cheaper before I considered buying it. I’m not knocking it or the cash just comparing guitars as art to a piece of art. Personally I wouldn’t pay for either the primal scream guitar or the painting but If I had just spent a million quid on a loft apartment either may appeal. I'd much rather spend it on the art than the guitar, even if I didn't like the art. At the end of the day, the artist is working by hand, but Fender are applying a factory finish.
