https://www.facebook.com/doublesevenguitars Try this guy, his name is Matt, he was our guitarist in our rock band for a while but also worked for some high end racing teams so was pretty familiar with wrapping for the race cars

He is a good guy and would do you a really nice job

"the guitar shown above cost £75 for the new Racing Green and Carbon wrap."

A friend of mine owns a sign/ printing company and they do wraps for vans, etc - think BT/ SKY/etc. I asked about having a bass done - "no problem" - but never followed up on it.

No reason why your local sign makers/ printers couldn't do the same.

I'm going to attempt wrapping a Hohner B2 in 'carbon fibre' wrap. The vinyl and knifing tape was about £15, and I already have a scalpel and hot air gun, so not much lost if I end up peeling it all off and binning it.

Wouldn’t there be a seam?

If very artfully applied there would be a very fine seam to a wrap. That would be next to invisible if the junction between front and back formed any sort of pattern.

If you meant the dip film, not sure. I believe it is a very fine film and by the time a couple of clear coats were added the edge would probably disappear. The prepping would have to be the same standard as paint so the only advantage would be if doing something super funky.
