Any Streinberg with Mac users?

I’m borrowing a Steinberg UR22 interface and using with Mac Book Pro.

 

However, playing anything back is all broken up. 
 

Logic, Spotify, you name it. Headphones and monitors. 
 

it sounds like something is struggling. 
 

Has anyone ever experienced similar?

Smartarse and useless answer. The kidz love that stuff and spend hours working towards it.

A bit of a long shot but I had something similar on my old MacBook Pro. I seem to remember increasing the I/O buffer size cured the problem.
