It's a shame no-ones gone for the "Pitza Kustom" as I thought it worked very well as a complete unit. I've now started to strip the bass down into its components and will be using some of them on other basses / projects. In the coming weeks I'll probably put the remaining bits up for sale on here 😁

Both! 😁 It's painted with the colour "Purple Haze Megashift Pearl" which is designed to change colour depending on how the light reflects off it.

Well it took me a bit longer than the "few days" but I've managed to get some examples recorded and into Dropbox. I'll start with applying the usual excuses and apologising for the playing / timing / rushing / wrong notes etc. etc. 🤣

 

As I'm not currently set up to record direct into a DAW I've had to compromise a bit. The signal chain was bass into Demeter amp via the Smoothound wireless. Amp set flat and played out through a Berg CN212. Backing music from my computer played on Presonus Eris 8 speakers. All of this was then recorded on my Samsung Note. No post processing with the exception of the captions in Movie Maker. It may not be the most accurate of reproductions but you can get the idea of some of the tones available.

 

Speaking of tones... there's gazzilions of options with the Pope / Seymour Duncan / switching so I decided to initially show the difference just from the pickups (rear / both / front) and then add in parallel / series......all with the tone flat. The last recording I did was to show the preamp range from twangiest to bassiest settings.

Thank you. It is a great bass for the cash........but I am currently having thoughts about stripping the pre / pups / bridge for another project! 🤔🤣 Is this the tweakers alternative to GAS.....Permanently Improving Stuff?🤣
