12 step and ipad/iphone? Anyone using this?

As per the title. Is anyone having success with this setup? I've looked around t'internet with no real luck.

 

Currently using a jamMan looper to trigger backing tracks but it's a bit of a faff to change key (and not instantaneous) 

 

I don't really want to lug a laptop to gigs, would rather use my phone or iPad, garageband would be perfect if it could work.

I use a 12 step and an iPad to run synths for my setup, but ironically also use a Jam Man to trigger individual sounds. Every so often I look for a decent one shot looper on the iPad, but the only ones I can ever find are fantastically clever complicated things, rather than just the one shot samples I want.
