silverfoxnik Posted April 5, 2009 Posted April 5, 2009 (edited) [b]**** NOW SOLD ****[/b] Hi Folks, I bought this [b]VT1-Purist Bass[/b] pedal of ahpook a couple of months ago for [b]£65[/b] (inc delivery) to add some valvey goodness and warmth to my Eden Nemesis driven sound, but I'm just not using it. I tried it at a couple of gigs and it really does make the sound warmer and richer, with some of those 'overtones' that you can only get from a valve, but the band prefer the sound I get without it, though that's more of a reflection on the kind of band we are and the music we play than the pedal I think. Not looking for any trades in particular but have been told an Aphex Bass Exciter would be good to use with my Roscoe Beck V string, so that could be interesting??
