Any Sandberg 4-string California V or T series bass owners in Yorkshire/Humber/East Midlands

Hi folks, just wondering if there’s anyone local to me who’d be willing to let me have a quick try of their 4-string Sandberg California V or T (under supervision of course) as there’s nowhere local to try them. I’m still doing a bit of research on neck dimensions for my Shuker build. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Giving this a bump as I’d still greatly appreciate just being able to literally get my hands on one of these for just a few minutes.

Buy one? 😆

Maybe. As said though, it’s mainly for research for my Shuker build - I need to know whether a 39.5mm nut would be comfortable for me.

Thanks for the response, folks. It’s less of a pressing concern now as I’ve submitted my build specs based on Stingray SLO neck dimensions. I’d still like to try some Sandbergs at some point soon though.

You’re more than welcome to try mine although they are all series 1’s and in the west mids.

Thanks. Is there a significant difference between the two series (other than the body shapes)?

Which models do you have abs whereabouts in the West Midlands are you?

I haven’t played a series 2 tbh but I believe they are a bit more compact and generally lighter. I have a VM4 and 2 x TT4’s. I’m in West Bromwich.

  • Thanks 1
