Quatschmacher Posted November 26, 2021 Posted November 26, 2021 (edited) Hi folks, just wondering if there’s anyone local to me who’d be willing to let me have a quick try of their 4-string Sandberg California V or T (under supervision of course) as there’s nowhere local to try them. I’m still doing a bit of research on neck dimensions for my Shuker build. Any help appreciated. Thanks. Edited January 15, 2022 by Quatschmacher Quote

Quatschmacher Posted January 15, 2022 Author Posted January 15, 2022 (edited) Giving this a bump as I’d still greatly appreciate just being able to literally get my hands on one of these for just a few minutes. Edited January 15, 2022 by Quatschmacher Quote

DJ '65 Posted January 18, 2022 Posted January 18, 2022 I’m in the West Mids if that’s any help? 1 Quote
ead Posted January 18, 2022 Posted January 18, 2022 I have a TT (passive) based south of Preston so not too far for you? Quote
Quatschmacher Posted January 18, 2022 Author Posted January 18, 2022 Thanks for the response, folks. It’s less of a pressing concern now as I’ve submitted my build specs based on Stingray SLO neck dimensions. I’d still like to try some Sandbergs at some point soon though. Quote
Quatschmacher Posted March 10, 2022 Author Posted March 10, 2022 Bumping this as I'd still like to try. Quote
DJ '65 Posted March 10, 2022 Posted March 10, 2022 You’re more than welcome to try mine although they are all series 1’s and in the west mids. 1 Quote

Is there a significant difference between the two series (other than the body shapes)? Which models do you have abs whereabouts in the West Midlands are you? Quote
DJ '65 Posted March 11, 2022 Posted March 11, 2022 I haven’t played a series 2 tbh but I believe they are a bit more compact and generally lighter. I have a VM4 and 2 x TT4’s. I’m in West Bromwich. 1 Quote
fretmeister Posted March 11, 2022 Posted March 11, 2022 Series 2 is a lot lighter. I'm just about in the East Mids near Towcester if that is any good to you? I have a TT4 superlight. 1 Quote
