Grahambythesea Posted December 3, 2021 Posted December 3, 2021 It’s so large it’s hardly any more portable than a DB. Quote
Owen Posted December 7, 2021 Author Posted December 7, 2021 Certainly unlikely to be one finger per semitone! 2 Quote

Woodwind Posted December 26, 2021 Posted December 26, 2021 I really like the vibe of this. It's absolutely ridiculous and as has been stated will pose various amplification problem, but I can't wait to see a prototype. Quote
Lfalex v1.1 Posted December 27, 2021 Posted December 27, 2021 Unless the "endpin" is well isolated from the floor, it'll cause some good structurally- borne vibrations. Imagine it being played with vigour in a timber- floored upstairs room. Even without amplification, I reckon it'll make its presence felt. Quote
Happy Jack Posted December 27, 2021 Posted December 27, 2021 Lest anyone is taking any of this seriously, I strongly advise you to go to that FB page and read the comments. These people are apparently world famous for their non-existent service, non-existent communications, and appalling wait times for their basic product which is ERB strings. By all accounts they do eventually deliver, and allegedly the strings are worth waiting for, but the idea of handing over several thousand pounds to them and settling back to wait for a barely useable prototype to come through the letterbox is deeply, deeply unappealing. 🤨 1 Quote

Hellzero Posted December 27, 2021 Posted December 27, 2021 I can only, hélas, confirm what @Happy Jack has written as we made a strings group order some years ago and it was an awful experience as they didn't make sets, but they simply sent a lot of strings in a box... after a lot of emails asking for the said order. And there were some strings missing too. 🤦♂️ Quote
