doc40hz Posted December 3, 2021 Posted December 3, 2021 Multitracked and quickly mixed from our rehearsal a few weeks ago in preparation for our debut gig. 4 Quote
Taylor Bitch-blues Posted December 3, 2021 Posted December 3, 2021 I have nine T/Lizzie albums, saw them live in the 70's three times before they got big, (Scott Gorham, Snowy White), great job guys, well done. 1 Quote

gjones Posted December 4, 2021 Posted December 4, 2021 Sounds great. I've just joined a rock band and we play a few Lizzy tunes. It's good to be able to play with pick. The last time I played with a pick I was 18 years old and was playing Queen songs in my school band. 1 Quote
evan47 Posted December 4, 2021 Posted December 4, 2021 Great! The first album I bought was Thin Lizzy Live and Dangerous. Happy memories. 1 Quote

I never usually play with a pick or get to play my trusty old precision as I need a five string for my function band. Playing these tunes with a pick and a very mid-heavy tone is great fun. I would never normally use the tone I've got for the Lizzy band but it just works in context. A precision, rotosound flatwounds and a pick = 70s bass sound! Quote
