And you are, of course, quite right.  Yes - that was the other video he did on the Ken Smith.  I'll ask nurse to increase the medication even further...

By the way, stick with it past the intro - they start going into quite a bit of detail of the knobs settings and playing style effects...

I do enjoy these guys videos but when they are sitting there doing the bobble heads to whatever piece of music they are listening to, I can’t help but think of Beavis and Butt-Head 😂

Hi guys - I confess to not having read the whole thread. But I have a pressing issue with my WAL Pro bass - fretless passive 1981. The rotary pots are not working and need replacing. Can any of you guys give me the circuit for this vintage model? Values of the pots and whether log or linear? Any photos? I'd be very grateful.

The pots are weird in that the shafts push into the pot rather than being part of it, they seem to break quite often.

Loving this thread and taking a lot of tips and inspiration from it. I’m currently using a Sterling stingray with a Herrick Multicoil and lusithand NFP. That with a harmonic booster I great a lovely tone.

I’m just editing a video now that reviews the new Lusithand Double NFP Special Mark 2. It’s an excellent preamp with some very good new features.

Hi All

what an inspiting thread this has been!

 

I have a Sterling MM SUB Ray customised by Martin Herrick to demo his 8-coil Herrick pickup coupled with a Lusithand NFP filter preamp.

 

The range of sounds available from the 3-way switch and boost from rhe push/pull knob transform the possibilties of the Stingray sound,

 

I'm interested to see what funkie Pete makes of his new Lusithand Double NFP Special Mark 2....
